Reginald Garton Wilberforce3 was born on 23 January 1838 in Brightstone.3 He died on 19 January 1914 at the age of 75 in Bramlands.3 He was of Bramlands, Henfield, Sussex, formerly of Lavington Park, Sussex , D.L., J.P., Barrister-at-Law, Ensign 52nd Light Infantry. He was the third man into the Kashmir Gate, at the Siege of Delhi following the Inidan Mutiny, 1857, serving under John Nicholson. He wrote a book " An Unrecorded Chapter of the Indian Mutiny", which was critical of the Delhi campaign.

Reginald Garton Wilberforce and Anna Maria Denman were married on 16 July 1867 in Lavington, Sussex ( Now Seaford College).3 Anna Maria Denman3, daughter of Richard Denman, died on 21 October 1938. She was born in Westergate Arundel, Co. Sussex.3 Fourth daughter of Hon Richard Denman was born in Westergate Arundel, Co. Sussex. Grandaughter of Lord Thomas Denman 1st Baron, Solicitor General to Queen Caroline and Lord Chief Justice of England 1833-1850, involved in the bill to emancipate Slaves in British Dominions, 1833.

Emily Susan Wilberforce3 was born on 17 February 1881 in Lavington, Sussex ( Now Seaford College).3 She died on 7 May 1964 at the age of 83. She lived in Graffham, Sussex.3
