Fellow of All Souls College, Oxford, 1871; born 7th September, 1805, educated Oriel College, Oxford (B.A. 1826, M.A. 1829, D.D. 1845), married 11th June, 1828, Emily (died 10th March, 1841), eldest daughter and co-heiress of Rev. John Sargent, of Lavington, Sussex, Secretary to the Treasury, and M.P. for Queensborough, by his wife, Mary, daughter and sole heire Abel Smith, elder brother of 1st Baron Carrington (see Burke's Peerage), and died 19th July, 1873 - L G Pine Emily Sargent3, daughter of John Sargent and Mary Smith, was born in 1807 in Lavington, Sussex ( Now Seaford College).
